When your fashion jewellery is brand new, it shines and sparkles with a wonderful eye-catching brilliance. However, after a while the air, moisture, oils on your skin, and other factors cause it to dull and tarnish. Here are some tips for cleaning your fashion jewellery and keeping it looking new and beautiful:
- Spray your perfume and hairspray before putting on your fashion jewellery, because the chemicals can cause the metal to tarnish.
- When you take your jewels off at the end of the day, wipe them clean with a cotton cloth to remove any make up or skin oil.
- Keep your necklaces organized on a hanging organizer. When you allow necklaces to tangle together in a drawer or bag, they can break or become damaged when you try to untangle them.
- When you go travelling, use tissue paper or a soft cloth to separate your jewellery in the bag.
